Meet Dr. Yissell Carpentino
With years of experience working as a pediatric dentist, Dr. Carpentino truly understands the unique needs of children. Knowing they are naturally curious and enjoy learning new things, Dr. Carpentino spends time explaining and teaching the importance of excellent oral health.
Developing a strong bond with children and their parents is important to Dr. Carpentino. Her warm and friendly personality allows her to connect with patients and their parents, which encourages open and honest conversations about dental hygiene. For comfort and reassurance, she welcomes parents who want to join their children in exam rooms.

Originally from Puerto Rico, the Enchantment Island, Dr. Carpentino graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 2009. With a post doctoral degree and advanced training, she became a pediatric dentist at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. As a pediatric dentist, she provides services to her community and she enhances the well-being and health of of infants, children, youth, and those with special needs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, friends, cooking, and biking.
