Meet Dr. Yissell Carpentino
HIGHLY TRAINED and EXPERIENCED DENTIST!
Hello, everyone. Let me introduce myself to the future patients and families. Thanks for visiting our website today and reading about my journey to become your pediatric dentist.
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, named Enchantment Island, where I went to college and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2004 with Honors.
To fulfill my dream of becoming a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, I attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2009. After completing my dental degree, I met two years of the General Practice Residency program in New York City.
To continue my dreams and goals, I spent two years at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where I received my Pediatric Dental Specialty Certificate and a year completing a Fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
After my graduate studies, I decided to open my private practice in Bellbrook to serve the community and to provide and share my knowledge specializing in infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. Currently, I am an Active Member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Dayton Dental Society, and Ohio Dental Association.
I currently have privileges at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Dayton Children’s, where I perform Hospital Dentistry.
In my free time, I spend it with my husband and my two kids, Karina and Derek, watching movies, craft work, and biking.
Thanks for reading! Finally, our Team at Bellbrook Pediatric Dentistry welcomes your family with a warm smile and excellent individualized pediatric dental care.
Sincerely,
Dr. Yissell Carpentino
