Meet Dr. Yissell Carpentino
HIGHLY TRAINED and EXPERIENCED DENTIST!
Hello everyone, let me introduce myself to the future patients and families. Thanks for visiting our website today and taking the time to read my journey to become your child(s) pediatric dentist.
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, named the Enchantment Island, where I went to college and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2004 with Honors.
To fulfill my dreams to become a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, I attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine graduating in 2009. After completion of my dental degree, I completed two years of General Practice Residency program in New York City.
To continue my dreams and my goals, I spent two years at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where I received my Pediatric Dental Specialty Certificate and spent a year completing a Fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at Ohio State University College of Dentistry. I currently have privileges at Cincinnati Children Hospital, where I perform Hospital Dentistry.
After my graduate studies, I decided to open my own private practice in Bellbrook to serve the community and to provide and share my knowledge specialized in infants, children, adolescents and patients with special needs. Currently, I am an Active Member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Dayton Dental Society and Ohio Dental Association.
In my free time, I spend it with my husband and my two kids, Karina and Derek, watching movies, craft works and biking.
Thanks for reading! As a final note, our Team at Bellbrook Pediatric Dentistry welcome your family with a warm smile, and excellent individualized pediatric dental care.
Sincerely,
Dr. Yissell Carpentino
